Job Description : | GREAT OPPORTUNITY!!!! The Try J Advertising team is looking for a talented full-time Graphic Designer to support our marketing efforts. We are a small team with a variety of projects running simultaneously at any given moment, so an expert multi-tasker who can adapt to a dynamic work environment is essential. Mission: The mission of the graphic designer is to produce excellent graphic design work that is modern, clean, relevant, and effective in engaging the minds and hearts of others. The designer’s work should endear others to the brands and cause them to take actions that lead toward sale opportunities for the businesses. Duties: Execute design for a wide range of creative and campaign deliverables including social media, email, print, and web in a fast-paced environment Conceptualize and create graphical assets including but not limited to logos, image-treatments, in-store signage, large outdoor banners, printed mailers, billboards, company newsletter, etc. Film, edit, and animate videos for various social media platforms Schedule and organize various photoshoots – take the photographs, organize the content, and digitally enhance the photos Maintain that the brand identity systems, typography, photography, and other treatments are consistent across marketing assets Brainstorm campaign approaches and ideas including integration of cutting edge design and new creative strategies Keep up to date with the most current industry and design trends and interpret those into relevant creative Sample Workload: 1-2 emails per week. Must be able to create a proof within a few hours and quickly make all of the edits that the client requests. It is not unusual to receive monthly specials and need to send an email out the same day. 5-10 traditional print materials per week. This can be anything from large scale banners, table top flyers, direct mail, handouts, posters, in-store signage, etc. Coordinate printing either in-house or through one of our printing vendors. Need to be able to provide the client with quotes as well as write and file the P.O.’s. 5-10 digital assets per week. These assets include various sized social and website banners. 5-10 logos per year. Logo creation is needed for a wide number of events, anniversaries, holiday sales events, etc. 1 billboard per quarter. Must be able to coordinate printing with the commercial printer. 2-3 videos per month. This includes coordinating film shoot, filming, editing, and animating the videos. Videos range from staff, promotions, and events and are formatted for the clients’ websites, YouTube channels, and social media accounts. Intermediate skills and knowledge are required in Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects. 2-3 audio recordings per year. Record, edit, and export audio files in a wide range of formats. Specifically, multiple clients have their phone tree updated periodically and you must have knowledge of converting audio into CCIT U-Law and other specific audio formats. Create a company-wide newsletter every 1-2 months. 1-2 photoshoots per month. Advanced skills and knowledge in photography. Proficient in using Canon cameras. Be able to proficiently handle 7-10 projects at one time. The above may fluctuate over time depending on business needs. Technical: BS/BA Degree in Graphic Design/Advertising preferred with at least three years’ experience in graphic design or press-ready and web-ready design/layout. Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word and PowerPoint. Proficiency with Apple hardware and software. Experience with Asana or other productivity/project management software preferred. Photography and videography experience preferred. Ability to create and/or convert an email blast into HTML format preferred. Efficiency – able to produce significant output with minimal wasted effort.
