Assist as a backup for word processing. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time. 1. To maintain quality control over all typing tasks, making sure all materials are accurate and checked for errors. 2. Train and cross-train team members. 3. Distribute workload within the department and establish new deadlines when those requested cannot be met. 4. Make sure regular maintenance is performed on equipment and necessary supplies are ordered. 5. Proofread other employees work for accuracy, consistency and overall appearance As a backup needs to perform word processing functions in preparing letters, proposals, account summaries, fleet schedules: completing applications, binders, certificates. 6. To be thoroughly knowledgeable of the mechanics and applications of the word processing equipment. Required Skills and Competencies: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
