New England Donor Services (NEDS) coordinates organ and tissue donation in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, the eastern counties of Vermont and Bermuda. Responsible for one of the largest of the 57 Organ Procurement Organizations (OPOs) that make up the nation’s donation system, NEDS works with about 200 hospitals and serves 14 million people in our region, screening nearly 50,000 potential donor referrals annually. With approximately $90M in operating revenues, NEDS employs 250 clinical and non-clinical staff members throughout New England.

Job Description
This position is based out of Waltham, MA, however can work a hybrid in-office/remote or fully remote schedule. If fully remote, there is a requirement of 1-2 in-office meetings per year, in Waltham, MA. Preference will be given to candidates that live in one of our established states: MA, ME, CT, RI, NH, NJ, NY.
The Instructional and Presentation Designer (IPD) manages and provides instructional design services for Organ Donation Services. The IPD will work with subject matter experts (SME) to identify training needs, develop educational programs, resources and online training. The IDP utilizes all aspects of the instructional design process including needs assessment, content design, development and program evaluation.
In addition, IPD will assign and maintain training, tracking completion, running reports and provide technical support as needed. Designing and developing education and outreach presentation, programs and materials, as well as facilitating professional development training, will be on an as needed basis.
Qualifications
5-7 years progressive experience in Instructional Design
Bachelor’s degree required in the field of Instructional Design, Adult Organizational Learning or other related specialty
Strong interpersonal, presentation, project management and organization skills, with the ability to collaborate, lead multiple projects, managing changing priorities and deadlines
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, Articulate Presenter or Storyline, Captivate or other authoring tools to facilitate interactive learning, e-learning and webinars
Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) highly-desired
