If you have a growth mindset and you thrive under pressure, submit your resume today!Responsibilities: · Proficient knowledge of 3D in either- Maya, Rhino, Blender, Alias, Key shot, (modeling and rendering programs), with working knowledge of texture creation and shader types. SketchUp, Photoshop.· Experience with SolidWorks or other CAD modeling software is a plus· Create designs based on client needs· Work with internal and external customers providing excellent customer service· Assists lead designer with project related tasks· Perform drafting assignments in Auto CAD· Develop, modify and/or review production drawings according to established code standards· Assist designers source materials and products· Design & frequently update and maintain local showrooms· Meet with product vendors to learn about product sourcing and pricing· Conduct meetings to review plans and updates with different departments to discuss the expectations for custom projects· Listen to the wants and needs of the client and make suggestions to modify designs until the desired result is produced.· Prepare sketches and mood boards for the client and team· Research concepts and materials to support design team on technical issues influencing concept development· Work within timely schedules to coordinate the completion of tasks through to final project completion· Conduct on-site observations and provide recommendations to help streamline ongoing design projects· Prepare and participate in client presentations· Research new materials and processes· Effectively test prototypes· Work as part of a team to produce best methods· Record and analyze test data resultsQualification: · Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related discipline· Can draft plans to create or refinish spaces· Skilled in the use of light, color and textures in a space.· Interior construction, lighting, and furnishings· Candidates must have a suitable engineering qualification· Good computer literacy is preferred· Ability to use CAD software· Basic electrical knowledge is also beneficial· Candidates must also be able to display high levels of accuracy and attention to detail· Knowledge in Marketing & Social Media is a plus· Animation and video knowledge is a plus· Must have remarkable work ethic, including ability to meet deadlines· Must have sense of urgency, show up to work with a positive outlook on challenging work assignments with a team focused mindsetOther Information: Company is based in Commerce, CA.Must be able to work on site, no remote workHours are M-F starting 8amSalary is commensurate with experience.Candidates may be contacted for a telephone and/or introductory interview.Great upward mobility within the company.Submission of a resume and/or initial introductory interview does not guarantee employment.Position is full-time.References and background check required.Applicants are encouraged to submit work sample(s) for consideration.Paid time off upon completion of one year employmentPosition- related education sponsorshipMonthly birthday celebrationsGreat family environmentAdditional Requirements: Interpersonal Skills – Focuses on solving conflicts, maintains confidentiality, listens to others and keeps emotions under control.
