Job Description : | Momofuku Momofuku was founded by chef David Chang in 2004 with the opening of Momofuku Noodle Bar in New York City. Credited with “the rise of contemporary Asian-American cuisine” by the New York Times and named the “most important restaurant in America” by Bon Appétit magazine, Momofuku has restaurants in the United States and Canada as well as a line of restaurant-grade products for home cooks. The Junior Graphic Designer will help support the Design and Marketing teams for Momofuku’s consumer packaged goods line, Momofuku Goods. The role contains a heavy focus on Momofuku’s direct-to-consumer experience, including but not limited to site design and testing, creation of marketing materials across channels and platforms, and ideation/concept development to push brand forward. In addition, this role will support Momofuku’s retail expansion. This is a highly collaborative role, working closely with all functional departments within the Momofuku Orchard organization. RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and design digital marketing materials across platforms — site, social, email, and SMS — with a focus on creating high-performing assets that further Momofuku’s brand Create layouts and iterative versions for home page, product detail page, and landing page testing. Build and maintain a network of suppliers and vendors to ensure smooth procurement for design projects across the Momofuku Goods brand Own cross-functional feedback collection on design projects to communicate with external partners Enforce brand standards internally and externally to ensure Momofuku’s brand is well represented in all design materials Perform research and trend analysis in the CPG space to anticipate and inform relevant design materials and best practices Continuously improve design systems, including Adobe libraries and perform a quarterly audit of the brand style guide Prepare materials for print production and work with print vendors Collaborate with Marketing and Growth teams to create assets in line with business needs and objectives SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS Minimum 2 years Design experience, agency or in house eCommerce experience preferred Fluency across Adobe Creative Suite Comfortable creating branded emails A strong eye for design, layout, typography, and a high level of attention to detail Fluency in print production standards An interest in organizational design systems Excited about creating assets across both paid and owned marketing channels Ability to juggle multiple projects with tight deadlines Enjoy working both independently and as part of a team Proficiency in figma/sketch is a plus Video editing and motion graphics skills are a plus Physical Demands The physical demands for this position are seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching, frequently lifting up to 25 pounds, occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds, sitting, standing, for 4 to 8 hours, bending, and moving intermittently during working hours.
