We are focused on building and maintaining the IKE brand, inbound and outbound marketing, and expanding our marketing and brand reach through various digital channels. Our designers work closely with our technologists to create websites, landing pages, product literature, social ads, tradeshow exhibits, and much more. We are looking for a junior designer who wishes to work under an experienced Creative Director to handle basic and complex creative tasks under direction. You should have a mind for creative problem solving, a willingness to take feedback to improve your design, and a drive to continue learning and growing as a designer. This role must have a basic understanding and skills related to standard design software (Adobe Creative Cloud) and the Microsoft 365 Suite (specifically Word, PowerPoint, and Excel). You must also be willing to expand your skills into more progressive tools such as Figma and other online design tools. Junior Designer Responsibilities: Reviews briefs with the Creative Director, when applicable Handles design production tasks for both print and online design production Design images for social ads, outbound campaigns, and websites Contribute to page and screen layouts Works within a defined and organized brand and design system Takes direction from the Creative Director Meets project deadlines Learns new and innovative design/technology Designs and handles design needs related to trade show events (virtual and in-person) About ikeGPS: The United States and Canada are in the middle of a communications boom. Requirements Junior Designer Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in the field of Graphic Design Print and Digital Design experience required, with prior internship and/or entry-level Graphic Designer experience preferred Experience with Figma is a plus Familiarity with the Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign Familiarity with the Microsoft 365 Suite, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel Attention to detail Creative problem solving Organized Multi-task oriented Highly motivated Team player Able to work toward deadlines Willing to put in the necessary time to achieve perfection |
