Job Description : | About The Role: A successful Litigation Graphic Designer candidate will help manage litigation projects and key relationships with Nextpoint’s law firm clients. We’re looking for a smart, “people person” with a passion for customer service, excellent communication and design skills, and first-class problem solving capabilities to help us expand Nextpoint’s Litigation Services within our software subscription client firms. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter who lives for graphic design and presentations of all kinds, and is looking to have an immediate impact within an innovative software company. Key functions of this position include consulting with legal clients and managing/executing on their litigation and presentation needs (conceptualizing, designing, and revising demonstrative presentations). This role is key to developing, maintaining, and expanding client relationships by ensuring the clients’ litigation needs are addressed in a timely, creative, and professional manner. Responsibilities: Meet/consult with clients to create/art direct trial outlines and demonstrative presentations for legal proceedings Constantly monitor and report on progress of projects (both internally and externally) including hours, expenses, and budget burns Work closely and collaboratively with all members of the team including Sales, Marketing and other Engagement team members in order to secure new clients and projects Provide on-site courtroom/war room support for trials, mock trials, and/or arbitrations The role would be a hybrid position based out of Nextpoint’s Chicago office and includes 10-20% travel (perhaps more depending on trial schedules) 2-4 yrs in client facing role as a graphic designer or trial consultant Proof of COVID-19 vaccinations required (or will have soon) Strong online portfolio showcasing prior work experience Superior knowledge of PowerPoint, Photoshop, and Excel required Working knowledge of animation/3D modeling software and/or video editing experience a plus Effective business acumen and professional working style Extreme attention to detail Flexibility with hours and days worked; this role will occasionally require working non-traditional days/hours and may require working on-site with clients across the country.
