Please read this position in its entirety as there very specific skills and samples our client is seeking.
Our client in the Western Suburbs near St. Charles/Geneva Area is seeking a creative professional with a varied skill set to work a hybrid work model (2-3 days on-site). The ideal candidate will have expert ability in image retouching and composite image work, knowledge and experience in photography, as well as have the ability to effectively design a wide variety of print and digital media.
Strong skills required:
Image retouching/ editing: Composition work, clipping paths, color correcting
Project Management: Able to manage schedules and deliverables
Graphic Design: Catalogs, web updates, landing pages, banner ads, etc.
To be considered for this role, your portfolio MUST contain the following samples and if you do not have those samples showcased, please add them before submitting your application:
Image composition work as described above
Digital samples: Banner Ads, web pages, emails, etc.
Qualifications:
College degree in graphic/web design, media production or related field and in-depth knowledge of graphic design software such as Adobe Suite
3-5 years of experience working as a graphic designer (print and web) preferably at an agency or in-house creative department
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines consistently
Must be flexible, self-motivated, and able to set goals and develop projects
Strong understanding of design, typography, composition, and color editing
Video production and editing skills a plus but not required
