| Job Description : | Fast paced and quickly growing company is seeking a talented packaging designer to join our creative team. Our company has 4 primary divisions: Electronics, Fitness/Sports, Fashion and Automotive. This position will work primarily on Fitness/Sports and Automotive packaging, but will have the opportunity to work on all categories.Job Responsibilities: -Create unique packaging solutions for our various product lines from concept to completion-Complete understanding of packaging design processes including the ability to create die lines, arrange artwork, write copy, choose typography, and mock-up samples.-Handle all other necessary graphic design responsibilities including but not limited to: catalogs, product advertisements, and high resolution images.-Experience creating planograms, shippers, and displays is a plus.-Experience creating logos, prints and patternsQualifications: (a strong portfolio comes first and foremost)1) BFA degree in graphic design/packaging/fine art and a strong portfolio2) Must have proven experience in designing packaging (paper box, blister pack, hangtag, etc)3) Must be highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite for Mac: InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop4) Must be technical and able to create print ready packaging files5) Be able to Multi-task and meet tight deadlinesWe offer competitive compensation with health insurance, vacation and holidays.
