We’re looking for members to join our Design Adaptation team in a work from home arrangement.

The position provides the opportunity to work up to 30 hours/ week with 40 hours of sick time and competitive wages ($27/hr.) in lieu of benefits.

Description

Support the Design Adaptation team to fulfill client needs by providing accurate, creative solutions in a fast-paced environment, translating design intent onto different structures and forms. This intermediate-level position includes, but is not limited to, design adaptations, line extensions, and layout options. Will support and exhibit behaviors consistent with company values and beliefs.

Essential Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Produce accurate, consistent, and timely completion of high quality artwork.
Learn and execute artwork for legal and regulatory compliance.
Deliver production-ready files, following provided technical specifications.
Prioritize workload, proactively seek answers to questions, and meet assigned deadlines.
Assist in any additional responsibilities, as directed by management.

Competency Requirements

Proficient using Mac OS, Adobe Creative Suite (Strong knowledge of Illustrator and Photoshop), Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability to follow brand guidelines, interpret design intent, and maintain consistency throughout a design initiative.
Ability to solve design challenges quickly and creatively, with a high attention to detail.
Complete the Design Adaptation test
Basic understanding of packaging production, including print processes, nishes, artwork requirements, and terminology.
Willingness and flexibility to accept direction.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to thrive in the demands of pressing deadlines and confidently manage multiple and often quickly changing priorities.
Ability to work well as part of a team and embrace company culture

What You’ll Need

macOS 10.14 (Mojave) and newer or Windows 10 (or Server 2012 R2) and newer
Dual Monitor Set-up
Broadband or LTE Data that tests under 45ms latency when loaded (lower latency is better)
15 Mbit down / 3 Mbit up is minimum (higher bandwidth is better)
Test network requirements at https://speedof.me using an ethernet cable if possible

Educational & Experience Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Graphic Design or Fine Arts, preferred
3-5 years of experience in Design Adaptation, Production Art, or Graphic Design, preferably within the consumer packaging industry (or similar related experience).

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to walk, sit, use hands to type and operate mouse, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision and color vision.
