| Job Description : | Jet Mail Services is looking for a Prepress Desktop Operator / Prepress Technician Graphic Designer to join our team.Compensation based on experience, ability to assist in other areas, and dependability including ability to work overtime (at overtime pay).Are you an experienced variable data prepress professional or graphic designer with Adobe InDesign experience and willingness to learn variable data prepress, please send in your resume.Do you have any of the following skills, please send in your resume.This is not a remote position: Being on-site is needed to perform all aspects of this position.Essential Duties & Responsibilities: · File Setup for Digital Printing.· PDF and InDesign file manipulation.· Variable File Setup using XMPie and other software.· Handle multiple priorities with strong attention to detail.· Produce PDF proofs and mock-ups.· Automate General Functions when able with team assistance.· Analyze and solve issues.· Ensure that quality standards are being met.· Work under pressure of deadlines and delivery dates typical of Print Industry.· Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations.· Work as part of a team and effectively communicate with all co-workers.· Ability to work overtime paid at time and a half.· Ability to lift 25 lbs.· All other duties as assigned by managers.Requirements· 8:30am-5:30pm with overtime available.· Willing to work overtime to attain goals.· Attention to detail, accuracy and organization are a must.· Experience with InDesign.· Experience with Variable Data preferred but not required.· Design or Prepress knowledge such as File Troubleshooting, Preflighting etc.· Knowledge of Adobe CC, specifically InDesign & Adobe Acrobat.· Knowledge of Enfocus Products (Enfocus Pitstop Pro, Server &/or Enfocus Switch) preferred but not required.· Variable data composition tools (XMPie uCreate & uProduce) knowledge preferred but not required.· Printshop Mail, DesignMerge, FusionPro, SmartStream or other alike software experience is a Plus but not required.· Konica Print Equipment knowledge is a Plus*We Will Treat Your Interest/Inquiry Confidentially*Keywords: Desktop Publisher, Graphic Design, Data Processing, Graphic Designer, Pre-press, Job Type: Full-timePay: Up to $25.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:Day shiftMonday to FridayOvertimeSupplemental Pay:Bonus payExperience:Variable Data Prepress File Setup: 2 years (Preferred)Adobe InDesign: 3 years (Preferred)Enfocus Pitstop Pro: 2 years (Preferred)Work Location: One location |
