Job Description:
Our financial services client is in need of a long-term freelance Presentation Specialist to help them with high-level PowerPoint presentations, and all that go into them.
This is a high-energy, high-volume, high-profile creative position and applying to it means you are the same.
The Presentation Specialist is responsible for creating and editing PowerPoint presentations, Word documents, graphing Excel charts, and for other general desktop publishing duties.
Create multi-page / multi-section documents using templates and style sheets for pitch books, graphs, charts, and other print / design projects
Manages workflow and deadlines, review all outgoing product for accuracy and quality, and deliver jobs on-time
Support operations with performance metrics like quality of work, efficiency of production, and utilization
Produce high-quality pitch books, maps, and ad hoc projects

Requirements:
Expert skills in MS Office Suite
Extensive knowledge of specialized applications, including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
Attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality and a critical eye in terms of aesthetics
Exceptional customer service and client interaction skills
Ability to deliver time-sensitive custom PowerPoint and Word templates, covers, advanced Excel charts / tables / graphs and maps on-time and on-deadline
Excellent design sense and awareness of current design trends
Can interpret complex ideas visually
Proficient in ArcGIS mapping a plus
Advanced presentation design / layout creation and editing skills
Exceptional customer service and client interaction skills
Able to proof own work
Exposure to Onsite and Offshore working models a plus
Adaptability and willingness to pitch in where needed
Financial industry experience a plus
5-years of successful experience leveraging the full MS Office Suite as well as Adobe Creative Suite skills, to deliver time sensitive product in a professional services environment
