|Job Description :||*Location is Carmel, IN. No remote option is available.*Job ResponsibilitiesPreparing art (off existing designs, from stock, or provided files) for client proofs and print production.Communicating with clients, vendors, and distributors in a professional manner.Assessing incoming art for print quality.Color correcting art on a deadline.Printing a high volume of jobs for production daily.Working with clients, vendors, and distributors during reordering and creating new art.Supporting other design staff with projects in art creation and printing orders.Working with Customer Service and Warehouse Manager regarding accurate production time and ship dates.Maintain inventory on printing supplies and ordering more as needed.Preparing images or photography for current job orders, web, social and marketing materials.Updating existing product designs and creating new designs.Assisting in the creation and updating of sales sheets for distributors and sales representatives.Maintaining organization of large database of design files.Occasionally editing and updating content on company websites.Occasionally assisting with assembling, stapling, cutting, and packing marketing materials.Assists with special projects as assigned.Required Skills & ExperienceProficient in Adobe CS5 or higher, especially Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. We use the latest version of AdobeCC.Some familiarity with FTP and cloud file storage platforms like Dropbox, OneDrive, Box, etc.Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.Associates or Bachelors Degree in New Media, Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Visual Communications or at least one year experience in a production art or design setting.Strong time/project management skills and ability to meet deadlines.Strong understanding of color and ability to follow design trends.Ability to work independently with little direction and take creative direction from designers and clients.Desired Additional ExperiencePrevious experience in a print production or prepress setting a plus.Some customer service experience helpful.Understanding of PMS colors and CMYK printing.Some familiarity with Xerox commercial and Epson large-format printers.DSLR photography & editing skills, preferably product photography.Some familiarity Fiery/Command Workstation.Some social media marketing/management and blogging experience.Experience with digital asset management.ASI and PPAI experience.To apply, please submit your resume with relevant experience.
