Our state-of-the-art processing equipment and software allows us to get the job done right, on time and on budget every time!We’re looking to add an account manager who will work directly with customers via phone, email and in person. Customers often need assistance with their artwork, clarification of USPS regulations and guidance in selecting a targeted mail list. We’re able to guide them thru the process, make cost saving recommendations, oversee the production… and save the day! We love what we do because we add value to our customer’s campaigns and customers rave about our service. Most of our contacts are marketing managers from a wide variety of companies… wineries, manufacturing, retail and nonprofits. No, we don’t do coupon-type promotions. Our direct mail projects are often high-end presentations that “wow” the recipient and get results.Skills needed: Friendly, professional communication with excellent verbal and written skills. A major portion of our day is spent communicating with customers, so you’ve got to be clear, concise, knowledgeable, and personable. Our business is quite unique. Therefore, a Batchelor’s Degree or equivalent, with at least two years’ experience, is required. A full understanding of Microsoft Outlook/Microsoft Office is necessary. An understanding of Adobe Creative Suite and/or graphic design is a plus (although we’re not looking for a graphic designer). Knowledge of print and paper would be ideal.A day in the life: In addition to polished verbal skills, a major portion of the job is project management. Often, you’ll be working on 5-15 jobs during the day, so you need to keep track of where each job is in the production queue… things like “Did I order the envelopes for job #7?” Or “Why hasn’t the mail list arrived for job #15?”. It’s much like juggling… you don’t want to drop a ball. This is where your accuracy and organizational skills come in. You’ll need to be BIG on details, even though they may seem small.As we coach a customer thru their project, they naturally want an idea of what it’s going to cost. With industry specific software, we can quickly prepare an estimate, resulting in a happy customer… thus getting the job.It’s fun, fast paced, and rewarding.
