Summary

Senior Graphic Designer works to execute the artistic expression of clients’ marketing story, using visual skills to provide continuity for environments, signage, sponsorship touchpoints and exhibit graphics. Formulates concepts and executes layout designs for artwork and copy of all levels of design projects. Meaningfully influencing target audiences to achieve our clients’ goals.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for designing visual solutions for brands, that guide and enrich experiences. This includes experiential messaging such as signage, wall graphics, sponsorship touchpoints and structural graphics.
Works collaboratively to design visual solutions and messaging.
Acts as translator between a client’s need and the finished, visual project. This individual is also gifted with communicating and explaining the rationale of his or her ideas in a written form (style guide) and verbally to a team or client.
Leverages best practices and experience to contribute.
Functions as a subject matter expert for show management, exhibit, corporate graphics.
Requires some client-facing exposure.
Delivers desired results through established methods, templates and standards.
Ability to create high resolution production graphics for large format printing.
Formulates basic layout design concept and conducts research to select and secure suitable illustrative material and assigns production of material and detail to Designers and Detailers.
Work closely with GAM and Graphic Layout to provide seamless hand off to Graphic Production.
Work is primarily tactical execution with minimal strategic involvement.
Acts as a mentor and trainer for more junior or associate level designers, reviewing and approving designs before presenting to clients.
Education & Experience
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
5 years industry experience in a related field, brand experience, corporate marketing environment or architectural design firm in applicable areas of space design, visual design and articulating the audience experience. Knowledge of large format design is essential.
