This individual will be responsible for the following tasks:

Design conceptual graphics and strategy maps based upon brainstorming sessions and direction from clients and account teams
Listen to design needs, develop concepts, and communicate them to clients and other members of the team
Oversee all elements of the full life cycle design process, from initial conception through final delivery
Create original pieces, including illustrations and infographics
Delegate design tasks and provide support for junior-level design team members
Maintain high standards of quality and ensuring only the best work is released to clients
Apply co-creation methods and techniques to develop opportunities with customers and end users

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or equivalent experience
4-6 years design experience
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop
Design skills: print and website layout, information architecture, typography, iconography, illustration and print production
Excellent communication (written and verbal), time management, interpersonal and team participation
Excellent client-facing skills, including the ability to communicate clearly and concisely
Ability to rapidly assimilate new technologies and communicate effectively across various teams
Ability to systematically gather relevant information from sources to address an issue and make prompt, insightful decisions
Ability to multitask across multiple projects and collaborate productively within large interdisciplinary teams
Ability to apply a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high-impact assignments
Proven ability to meet tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrated ability to incorporate user-centered design principles into the architecture and design of user interfaces
Knowledge of HTML and CSS is a plus
Experience in information design/design strategy is a plus
