Job Summary

Crafts meaningful creative work to fulfill the marketing needs of the Sanford Health Foundation and Good Samaritan Foundation. We are seeking a senior graphic designer to craft meaningful work to fulfill the marketing needs of the Sanford Health Foundation and Good Samaritan Foundation. In this role, you will create everything from branding and mailers to websites and motion graphics. You ll have an exciting opportunity to generate creatives ideas and shape the future of the Foundations while you help our enterprise development teams meet their fundraising goals by elevating marketing materials through tailored design.

To be successful in this role you should have extensive knowledge of graphic design, styles, and techniques; be able to initiate and lead design projects; execute marketing campaigns from conception through execution; embrace a collaborative team approach to marketing projects yet be self-motivated and work independently as needed; think strategically; be able to prioritize and delegate work.

Responsibilities:

Create standout visuals for print, digital, social, websites, motion graphics and more

Use Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Canva to create and version campaign materials with strong attention to detail and graphic production skills

Interpret creative briefs and take direction from marketing team members to create compelling design options

Reviewing design drafts of parttime graphic designer to ensure quality

Ensuring brand consistency throughout various marketing projects

Liaising with Foundation s marketing team to ensure deadlines are met

Staying up-to-date with industry developments

Requirements:

A bachelor s degree in graphic design, fine arts, visual communications or a related field

5+ years of proven work experience in graphic design

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud tools including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign

Excellent communication, organization and time management skills

A strong portfolio demonstrating your passion for clean, purposeful design

Remains skillful in printing and graphics.

Qualifications

Bachelor s degree required, preferably from an accredited institution in graphic design, commercial art, industrial illustration, fine arts or a related field.

Minimum of three years of graphic design experience required, preferably in an agency or corporate setting preferred.

Possess computer skills and proficiency in all aspects of computer-based graphic design including the ability to effectively and creatively utilize programs such as InDesign, Photoshop, QuarkXPress and Illustrator as well as remaining up-to-date on changes to similar programs in the graphic design industry.

Experience in digital photography and output, scanning, archiving, HTML/web site design, layout, printing production, phone manipulation, color, typestyles, composition and illustration required.
