Job Description : ABOUT THE ROLE:
This candidate will be the visual gatekeeper for Ampersand. This role will lead how our brand evolves, both with its messaging and its visual identity. They are someone who can sift through the clutter of data to develop clear and concise material responsible. They need to be a go-getter who can roll up their sleeves to help finish the sales pitch deck, but also be a leader in the conversation on how the brand can go to market in the next quarter. The TV industry is evolving rapidly, and with Ampersand at the front of the change, this candidate must be able to absorb complex situations and produce trainable and sellable collateral.

If you’re someone who enjoys creating graphics including illustrations, logos, layouts, and photos, and sales videos and are fascinated with storytelling through visuals, or like helping companies build unique branding, this is the place for you!

HOW YOU’LL BE CONTRIBUTING:

Maintain and enforce the branding, design and tone of all Ampersand sales & marketing collateral.
Help organize and create company-wide processes and interworking relationships required for the support structures needed for the marketing & design teams.
Develop strategic visual representations of text & data heavy information.
Interact with various teams to define systems requirements and/or necessary modifications to new or existing software in support of the creation and storing of marketing collateral.
Support the design and implementation of marketing programs & sponsorships (product, corporate, B2B).
Create graphic assets (photos, infographics, banners, videos) for use on external websites, social media channels, digital marketing communications, etc.
May perform other duties as needed

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE:

5 plus years of experience building brand identity, from tone of voice through design.
Expert knowledge in information gathering & organizing, with techniques to think critically and strategically about the how to bring texts and numbers to life.
An ability to simplify complex data into easy to digest visual storytelling
Expert in brand protection and maintaining consistency both internally and in marketplace.
Excellent working knowledge and implementation experience with tools/technologies and techniques used in the branding & design space, including but not limited to: PowerPoint, Excel, Tableau, Photoshop,
A general understanding of the TV advertising space. Digital advertising background also desired but not mandatory.
Independent and can work autonomously but also adept at collaborating with others
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design
