As a Senior Graphic Designer you will work closely with various teams to promote the Cirrus brand. You will initiate creative brief’s with your client and work with the Design Team and Design Director to ensure complete alignment with Cirrus’ goals and objectives. You will have expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator). You’re efficient at managing your time but also your creative approach in order to meet deadlines in a timely fashion.

To continue to make Cirrus the benchmark in general aviation, you will stay attuned to developments in the aviation and automotive industry. As Senior Graphic Designer for Cirrus, your design vision and aesthetic will help shape the Cirrus Experience.

Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions

Participate in regularly scheduled creative brief sessions that are used to kick-off creative projects and align with clients.
Collaborate with marketing and communications to support through design outbound digital communications.
Maintain Cirrus Brand guides and develop new products that reinforce our brand standards.
Create marketing collateral (multi-page product brochures, advertisements, sales tools, price sheets).
Support photoshoots by storyboarding with the product teams and retouching at post.
Support exterior aircraft livery design/branding by working closely with production and Xi Design team.
Continually promote thoughtful high-touch design ideas that promote our brand and values.

The ideal candidate would possess in-depth understanding of the following programs:

Demonstrates a strong understanding of digital renderings for visual communication.
Adobe Creative Suite products (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.)
Experience managing corporate brand standards.
Equal understanding of Apple and Windows platforms.
Experience working with printers on large scale press runs and reviewing proofs.
Keynote and MS Office
Follows automotive and fashion house trends that inspire future Cirrus styling.

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelors (BFA) Graphic Design.
6+ years experience in automotive, aviation or similar industries.
Experience with in-house Fortune 500 strongly considered.
Able to create branding, logo development projects.
Leads multiple design projects at varying stages from outset through completion.
Demonstrates excellent understanding of visual communication across various platforms.
Applies advanced sketching and rendering techniques to communicate design concepts.
