Senior Graphic Designer, Assistant Director of Graphic Design or Associate Director of Graphic Design may be offered dependent on candidate qualifications and experience Responsibilities Set and meet standards of excellence in graphic design content for primary use in recruiting, social media and print media. Assist Director of Creative Media with creating a design theme for each football season. Complete and deliver assigned projects for use within set deadlines. Assist the creative and recruiting staff with recruiting photo shoots. Collaborate with Director of Recruiting and Director of Creative media to create innovative ways of attracting potential recruits. Collaborate with Director of Creative media to introduce new ideas and designs for promotion of University of Texas Football. Provide the University of Texas Football Program with all the tools necessary to have an elite level social medial presence. Serve as an integral member of the University of Texas Football Staff. Consistently exemplify the core values (Diversity, Integrity, Accountability, Loyalty, Excellence, Creativity, Teamwork) and quality standards (Safety, Texas Hospitality, Teamwork, Efficiency) of Texas Athletics. Annually obtain prior written approval and report all outside activities and outside income. Report knowledge of, or reasonable cause to believe, violation(s) of state or federal laws, policies, rules, or regulations of the University, Big 12 Conference, or NCAA to IA ARMCS or IA HR. Fully cooperate with any investigation by providing complete and accurate information when requested to do so by Texas Athletics and/or the NCAA and do not influence others in any way during an investigation. In compliance with Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 and Texas Education Code Sec. 51.252, this position may be a Non-Confidential Employee as defined by University policies on Sex Discrimination, Sexual Harassment, Sexual Assault, Interpersonal Violence and Stalking. Required Qualifications One year of experience creating graphic content for a brand social media account. High proficiency in Adobe CC, primarily Photoshop, Illustrator and In-Design. Excellent organizational, problem-solving and communication skills required. RelevRelevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate. Preferred Qualifications Two or more years of experience creating graphic content for a brand social media account. High level of experience and skill with photography. Ability to challenge the status quo while still maintaining the integrity of a brand. Experience working with a collegiate or professional sports team. Driving Required This job requires a class “C” operator’s driver’s license. The applicant selected must provide a current three year driving record from the current state of residence. If not currently a Texas resident, a Texas driver’s license must be obtained within 30 days of becoming a Texas resident. Employees who are required to have a CDL are subject to drug and alcohol testing (pre-employment, post-accident, reasonable suspicion, random, return-to-duty, and follow-up drug and alcohol testing). Salary Range $55,000 + depending on qualifications Working Conditions May work in all weather conditions. May work in extreme temperatures. May work around standard office conditions.
