We are looking for a talented, versatile Adobe Graphic Designer who has a track record of designing captivating materials for products and brands. The work will range from original net-new creation to taking brand standards/guidelines and extending them to new mediums, from packaging inserts to well-designed guides that inform consumers on how to engage with a new product. The ideal candidate is flexible in what he/she/they work on, and is a pro at understanding a brand’s existing or ideal future state style and creating something new that meets the requirements. Someone who will thrive in this role is able to juggle multiple projects simultaneously. Responsibilities We are seeking a Graphic Designer who can create various artifacts for both our existing and new products. These could range from packaging inserts to components of a toy kit, or a how-to instruction manual with imagery. Wherever possible, we’ll seek to use scalable templates for future products and iterations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Participate in the ideation, development and visualization of brand style guides, where applicable. Where style guides exist, incorporate them into new materials as directed. Create, modify and revise creative materials as directed in order to meet evolving consumer needs Show Brand-right judgment in selecting colors, fonts, images, and layouts Ensure projects are completed in a timely manner with a quality product Advise best practices and optimizations throughout design projects Collaborate with the rest of the creative team to develop new approaches for creating more-expressive graphics for the company Document work as requested, establish creative direction for the company within brand guidelines In partnership with freelance copywriter and Perch employees, determine voice and messaging as requested QA design for errors Implement feedback and changes whenever possible About You 5+ years of professional graphic design experience in Adobe Suite Fluency in English Experience with product packaging and packaging inserts design Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively in a fast-paced production environment Uses time efficiently, is able to adapt to changes in priorities as business needs evolve, and solve problems independently Strong eye for aesthetic design and consumer trend/appeal, as well as image composition Meticulous attention to detail and ability to create efficient processes to render at scale Expert level working knowledge of the following software: Adobe Creative Suite Adobe Illustrator Adobe Photoshop Adobe InDesign General Microsoft Office Google Suite About Us Perch is one of the fastest-growing eCommerce companies in Boston.
