Presentation designers create engaging, on-brand visual concepts via slide presentations to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, and captivate an audience or viewer. Some work may be independent while others require a team, pending the project scope. RESPONSIBILITIES: Meet with clients, Producer, Communications Strategist and Art Director to determine the scope of a project Advise clients and team on strategies to reach a particular audience Transform dated Keynote and PowerPoint slides into visual stories that bring key messages and data to life Translate a corporate brand or event look and feel into a functional Keynote or PowerPoint template Select colors, images, text style, and layout as it relates to the presentation Strong ability to present the design to both clients and internal team Incorporate changes recommended by the clients into the final design Ability to occasionally work extended hours for tight deadlines and during peak seasons DURATION: TBD, based on project assignment QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum 10 + years of experience in creating corporate presentations Expert in Keynote and PowerPoint, including animation and up to date with industry-leading software and technologies (In Design, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc) Experience developing presentations for corporate events Keen sense of brand and impeccable attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and consistency Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio Possesses strong ability for creative flair, originality, visual storytelling, creative and conceptual presentation design Ability to collaborate with executive clients and internal creative team Ability to communicate and present thoughts and ideas clearly and effectively High ethical standards with the ability to creatively problem solve and exercise good business judgment Professionalism regarding time, costs and deadlines WORK ENVIRONMENT This job currently operates remotely. Once COVID restrictions are lifted and it is safe to do so, the role may operate in a professional office environment. POSITION TYPE/WORK ENVIRONMENT Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the “core” work hours of 9:00 a.m. to 6 p.m. TRAVEL No travel is expected for this position at this time.
