Position description This position specifically supports data visualization for PowerPoint presentations and scientific journal articles. We are placing a heavy emphasis on visual problem solving and technical rendering skills using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop. In addition to graphic design expertise, the incumbent will be expected to share a visual portfolio that demonstrates illustration expertise and an ability to translate complex concepts into effective visual solutions. This position is 100% remote; can work from anywhere. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in graphic design, web design, IT, visual communication or publishing/media-related field and a minimum of 2 years work experience in a production design/publishing related field. Incumbents must have strong knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite and demonstrate strong technical production skills. Additional qualifications Strong technical aptitude and design sensibilities. Attention to detail, accuracy and follow-through. Time management skills in a deadline-driven environment. Highly motivated with good communication skills and appreciation for teamwork/collaboration. Exemption status Non-exempt Compensation Detail Required education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The hourly pay range is $27.40-$37.00 per hour.
