Summary:
Applies art, design, and copy layout skills to create visually engaging concepts such as logos, promotional and branding materials, communication media, and other print and digital material to drive restaurant sales and enhance the guest experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Collaborates with the marketing department, restaurant staff, owners, and/or other project participants to understand project assignment, audience, and intended message.
Assesses the restaurant needs for digital and print media and makes suggestions accordingly.
Creates original restaurant print and digital marketing including coupons, flyers, menu boards, easels, and braggers.
Partners with the social media marketing team to create digital media for various social media platforms and the company website.
Creates and codes digital email marketing.
Prepares drafts of design work and provides samples to the marketing team or other appropriate staff or departments for review.
Revises projects as necessary based on collaborative feedback process.
Manages the ordering process for print media with various printing outlets.
Communicates with store management ensuring they are up to date on marketing initiatives and gathers information on the needs of the stores.
Facilitates partnerships with outside vendors and retrieves quotes as needed.
Consults with other team members as needed on complex or specialized projects.
Prepares print orders and assembly instructions on notification of final approval.
Maintains records of billable project time as required.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent from four-year college or university; or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
