As familiarity and productivity grow, Egan does allow for remote, work-from-home arrangements with its employees with the understanding that there may be times when working on-site is required.The Essential Functions of the Technical Graphic Designer include: Interpret technical site survey information as it relates to signage and building dimensionsInterpret zoning code information and use it to provide a layout that fits within regulationsCreate accurate, production ready graphic design packages that incorporate the following elements:Site plan (detailed engineer plan, or improvised satellite screenshot)Detailed technical information required for productionTo-scale and realistic graphic representation of how signs will appear as a final product at the subject locationEnsure client brand standards are followed consistently from project to projectFollow/create/maintain design control documents to ensure consistency in design and product offeringsCommunicate with manufacturing partners on production and material limitations to ensure signs are designed with feasibility and cost effectiveness in mindCreate full size production files of approved sign designs to be used by manufacturing partners in production of signsMaintain 90% or better on-time delivery against internal milestones of the Egan Sign timelineMaintain detailed and accurate notes in project management software, “Sign Manager”Provide prompt and detailed communication to team members, both written and verbalCommunicate with clients on a limited and as needed basisAssist with the development of marketing materials on a limited basisThe Skills and Requirements of the Technical Graphic Designer include: Highly organized, self-motivated, and goal drivenDetail oriented with focus on accurate workAbility to meet aggressive project deadlinesProficient computer skillsAbility to prioritize and manage a daily task listExperience with CorelDraw and/or Adobe IllustratorWorking knowledge of and experience with scalingExperience with architectural signage/wayfinding & knowledge in ADA compliance preferredInterior & exterior signage designWayfindingCustom floorplan packagesThe culture at Egan Sign is a team environment built around these values: Respect – We treat others the way we want to be treated.
