Job Description The University of Nevada, Reno is recruiting Graphic Designers for the Center for Student Engagement. This position is temporary and fully remote . The temporary Graphic Designer position will report to the Director and Associate Director of Student Engagement. They will collaborate with various areas for project changes and additions. The designer will create designs with University, Center for Student Engagement, and ASUN standards and policies in mind. Candidate with a compelling portfolio of work over a wide range of creative projects and an excellent eye for detail are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Create and design various materials for print and digital collateral Ensure projects are completed with high quality and on schedule Establish creative direction for the company as well as brand guidelines Prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions Perform retouching and manipulation of images Work with a wide range of media and use graphic design software Maintain deadline and communicate when finished. Ensure all graphics meet accessibility standards Required Qualifications Associates degree in graphic arts, design, communications, or related field. 1-2 years of experience in graphic design. Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and the web Knowledge of Adobe PhotoShop, Illustrator, InDesign, and other graphic design software. Understanding of marketing, production, brand identity, advertisements, and multimedia design.
