What you will be doing: The UI/UX Graphic Designer will design graphic assets, prototype UI/UX, test application development, manage the design language, and conduct user testing. The designer will also create, improve, and use wireframes, style guides, user flows, and effectively communicate new ideas. Additional duties may include graphic design of marketing and web material. You must have: B.S. degree in Design, Computer Science, Engineering, UX/UI Programming, or related field 2+ years experience as a UI Designer, UX Designer, or similar role Good graphic design, illustration, and UI/UX skills Ability to develop, follow, and apply a consistent design language Interest in human-centered design and sustainability Strong experience with typical design applications (i.e. Adobe Suite, Affinity Suite, Sketch, Keyshot, Motion, etc.) Experience with video and animation production (Motion, Final Cut Pro) Work well with leadership in design charrettes Strong ability to self-manage You should have: Experience and interest in the entire design stack, including UI/UX, visual design, and interaction design Familiarity with visual asset management Ability to work closely with both back-end & front-end developers Experience meeting multiple deadlines, and managing expectations The ability to apply empathic design skills to user needs An understanding of the balance between refined design and the need to get to market It’s helpful to have: Experience designing and conducting moderated and unmoderated user tests Familiarity with web development technologies (HTML5, CSS3 & Javascript) Familiarity with the basics of programming or scripting Familiarity with Agile Development Methodology Compensation, Perks, & Benefits: Competitive compensation Equity share Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, FSA, HSA, Disability, and Term Life Insurance Annual PTO front loaded on Day 1 (no accruals!)
