A talented Video Editor and Motion Graphics designer will join the Creative Team in servicing other departments within the organization. Skillset should include the ability to edit video clips, pre-roll ads, and create engaging title sequences. The right candidate should have at least two years of professional experience and demonstrate proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Photoshop. Also, knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and collaboration software such as Google Docs. Experienced in clip sorting, color-correction, and adjustment of audio levels. This person should have the ability to work with various file types including JPGs, PSDs, PNGs while demonstrating ability in compositing scenes using motion and static images. This position will also be responsible for the proper tagging and documentation of tasks. As a motion graphic designer, candidate should have a solid understanding of typography and demonstrate ability to create type-based animations. The Video Editor/ Motion Designer will collaborate with other design professionals in producing content for pre-rolls, website graphics, social media posts, and other marketing needs. This role will work closely with other teams and should have a good grasp of the video production process. This person will consult and offer suggestions for capturing high-quality video. Candidate must be familiar with basic lighting techniques, frame rates, and photography best practices. As a video editor, this person should be familiar with various exporting, rendering and optimization techniques. Looking for individual familiar with ProTools, Logic or other DAW. Ability to create short intro music or loops would be nice to have but not mandatory. VS Media produces content for a variety of brands. The candidate must be able to work with established style guides and maintain visual consistency with other creative touchpoints. Communication is key as the Video Editor/Motion Designer will often be working on several projects at the same time. This individual must be able to keep stakeholders informed of progress. Candidate must have the ability to take direction from Creative Manager, prioritize tasks, and maintain quality levels. Attention to detail and personal accountability are essential while working in a deadline-driven environment. Compensation Compensation includes an attractive 401K.
