Leidos is seeking a Video Production Specialist to join our corporate proposal team supporting our FEDSIM Proposal Practice.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Video Production Specialist produces high quality video content that directly supports response to government requests for proposal especially FEDSIM efforts. Candidate should be proficient in all aspects of video production, from capturing video and audio, lighting, greenscreen, video editing and post-production. Teleprompting skills a plus. Candidate should be a self-starter with a flexible schedule. Strong project management and multi-tasking skills are required, as well as good communication and receptiveness to feedback. Must be willing to travel to and within the National Capitol Region; some domestic travel may be requested. Principal work location Reston, VA but may also work in Rockville, MD or San Diego, CA.
Primary Responsibilities:
Specialist will support Leidos proposal and program efforts as needed.
Will be responsible for studio operation (lighting, camera operation, greenscreen, teleprompter) as well as necessary post-production editing.
Due to nature of support, extended hours including weekends periodically will be necessary.
Basic Qualifications:
A link to sample work or demo reel
Bachelor Degree in a relevant field (or relevant experience)
5+ years of experience in Video Production
Skilled in video editing software, particularly AVID Media Composer, (experience w/ similar editing platforms acceptable)
Knowledge of and use of Camtasia
Experience with professional-grade cameras and video editing equipment
Experience with lighting, particularly for studio/greenscreen scenarios
Ability to create motion graphics (intros, lower thirds, etc)
A love of creativity
Good design sensibilities
Preferred Qualifications:
Supplemental to Videography, skill as a Graphic Designer
Using Adobe Creative Suite and PowerPoint skills, conceives, designs, lays out, and coordinates conceptual illustrations and creative artwork in accordance with Request for Proposal (RFP) requirements, Proposal Operations Standard Operating Procedures and Leidos branding guidelines
Creates proposal graphics and presentations for proposal inclusion and customer presentations
Reads and interprets RFP requirements to ensure compliance with all font, page, sizing, and other proposal submission requirements
