Duties
Under general supervision, serves as a graphics design specialist for a wide-range of productions related to the mission of the command
Develops communication concepts for project/product development and print and web production
Applies state-of-the-art technology in printing, electronic publishing, illustration, and photographic techniques to the visual information program.
Uses skills and creativity to identify, develop, and support new trends in visual media technology, animation, web applications, graphic design tools, streaming media and digital video and applies innovative solutions to problems
Works with clients and customers to assess their needs, provide information, assistance, recommendations and resolve their problems within resource limitations
Develops motion graphics and edit video to support marketing efforts.

Completed and signed DA Form 3433 is required prior to entrance on duty.

Shift will vary based on mission but could include days, nights, weekends and occasional holiday.
Appointment subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2.
Satisfactory completion of pre-employment background checks in accordance with AR 215-3, with an outcome of a favorable suitability determination, to include a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI).
This position require an individual to have the ability to discern colors, contrast, and depth and have hearing perception within the normal range (aided or unaided).
Qualifications
Progressive work experience in graphics design or education with a major study in graphic design, commercial art, marketing, photography, visual communication, or other fields related to this position.
Must have knowledge of printing, electronic publishing, illustration, and photographic techniques, theories, and practices.
Must be able to communicate orally and in writing and be skilled in interpersonal relations.
Highly Preferred: Experience in Marketing.
