Job Description :	Visual Information Specialists assist with the management of image repositories and are responsible for acquiring, identifying, cataloging, and inputting visual information in multiple formats. Other duties include image and video manipulation, scanning, and/or transferring from different media formats. Personnel shall already be trained and knowledgeable with Adobe Creative Cloud for providing the full gamut of visual information production to include image editing, video editing, graphic design, and layout and print.Multiple positions available for each of the following levels:EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: · Level 1 – one (1) year of recent experience preparing audiovisual productions and presentations; video and sound editing, capturing video footage and sound using digital video cameras, importing/exporting different a wide variety of video file formats. Required to be proficient with Adobe Premiere video editing software or Apple Final Cut video editing software.· Level 2 – Bachelor’s Degree BS/BA in a technical field, graphic arts or studio arts. At least four (4) years of recent experience preparing audiovisual productions and presentations; advanced video and sound editing, capturing video footage and sound using digital video cameras, well versed in shooting multiple camera angles and camera modes, advanced video and sound editing, importing/exporting a wide variety of video file formats and other computer systems or hardware. Required to be proficient with Adobe Premiere video editing software or Apple Final Cut video editing software.· Level 3 – Bachelor’s Degree BS/BA in a technical field, graphic arts or studio arts. At least six (6) years of recent experience preparing visual information for print and/or display in web environment; image cataloging, scanning, capture, and conversion of visual information into a wide variety of graphic file formats; image manipulation to include color correcting, background removal, and/or transferring from different media and/or formats and other computer systems or hardware. Experience performing in-depth, technical photography by taking sequences or collections of photographs to document larger projects or activities. Required to be proficient with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Bridge, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Flash and have knowledge of 3D modeling experience. AS/AA and four (4) additional years of experience may be substituted for the Bachelor’s degree.DESIRED EXPERIENCE (For Level 2/3 Poistions): Trained and knowledgeable with Autodesk Maya 3D to produce 3D models and animation.
