Varen is looking for a motivated Visual Information Specialist that will be responsible for designing, developing, and creating innovative concepts and ideas to enhance all visual aspects of the client brand across all external and internal communications, advertising and promotional materials. This includes: literature, print, multimedia, and social media marketing, web applications, presentations, videos, and similar graphics applications. Duties may include planning, designing, and preparation of audio, video, visual, strategy and conceptualization of new designs. What you will get to do: Acquires, edits, and produces commercial broadcast video and audio informational material for use on multiple platforms using industry standard editing and graphic design software with an emphasis on Adobe Creative suite 6 Premium software. Understands and applies the principles of layout and design of photographic projects using industry standard software and hardware for layout, editing, and producing final, edited multimedia products. Setups, installs, and operates a variety of video cameras, video editing systems, audio, lighting, and equipment. Applies principles of video framing, composition, visualization, storytelling, and audio for final products for distribution. Prepares sets to include positioning of lights, cameras, sound, properties and personnel, and ensures special audio and visual effects are used effectively. Ensures all audio video processes are documented appropriately. Plans and manages small scale to large scale video projects. Uses oral, writing, and editing skills to produce concise products that clearly and logically convey complex information and ideas.
