Immediate success will be measured by your ability to collaborate with others, establish good working relationships, demonstrate design skill that reflects the text of the content, gain an understanding of the department, and provide responsive service. We are seeking a candidate who has the ability to create well-designed web and graphic materials using a PC, the Adobe CreativeCloud and Civic Plus (or similar CMS). You should be a self-starter, motivated, highly-collaborative, and have a commitment to public service. Knowledge and skill in communications, teamwork, the ability to take feedback and implement as needed, HTML, CSS, UX/UI, photography using DSLR camera, video editing, marketing, and public relations will make you a great addition to the Communications team.Core Daily Responsibilities: *Design graphics and documents to support customer engagement, public relations, outreach and education campaigns, and inform the public on infrastructure projectsDesign and maintain webpages for both an internet and intranet siteQualificationsRecruiting Requirements: Graduation from an accredited four-year university or college with course work in Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, Commercial Art, Business Administration or other closely related field (Visual Communications, Graphic Design) ANDTwo years experience directly related to the duties of the position ORAny equivalent combination of education and experienceSpecial Requirements/Qualifications: As a condition of employment, the applicant will need to authorize and complete a background check.
