Job Description :	In the role of Web Designer you will be responsible for designing and building the interface, navigation and aesthetic of all the MAPEI websites. This position will work directly with the MAPEI Marketing team, the IT team and external consultants on all aspects of our website project development and maintenance. MAPEI Corporate Video Responsibilities Creates, communicates and maintains company websites, ensuring quality, timeliness, relevance and accuracy of each site (including all data bases). Websites include: mapei.us, mapei.ca, mapei.com-pr, mapeihome.com, Chembond.com, NA-Adhesives.com (North American Adhesives), and any future websites that may be developed. Post and remove website content, make updates and changes throughout websites, landing pages, fix broken links, work on website design, analytics, SEO, new features, enhancements, etc. Designing engaging and responsive websites and landing pages Post and remove website content, make updates and changes throughout websites, landing pages, fix broken links, work on website design, analytics, SEO, new features, enhancements, etc. Ensures websites comply with company branding and positioning and assists in the development of short and long-term plans for company Internet marketing efforts. Track and report on website metrics. Use analytics to target, reach our target audience and optimize sites for maximum speed and scalability employing industry and design best practice through website build process Conducting website testing. Liaising with back-end developers to ensure web and app logic is properly integrated. Ensuring website function and stability across devices i.e. desktop, mobile, tablet. Working with marketing and external consultant teams to incorporate brand elements and relevant market research findings into website. Support social media projects, e-blasts and video projects. Providing internal support and external communications throughout the new build and launch process of new website features. Designs web graphics using WordPress, Sitefinity, Adobe Suite – Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, API web integration, Experience in User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI), Flash, After Effects, Dreamweaver, HTML, CSS. Keeps up with industry opportunities and proposes specific applications that could be adjusted to MAPEI marketing needs such as video conferences via intranet, email campaigns, customer surveys via web, etc. Other duties as required. Qualifications The position requires the ability to work with a personal computer in a MAC environment and familiar with Window. Use Microsoft Office Suite software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and as well as using the Internet. Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university; or 6 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Graphic designer experience for two years. Demonstration of fluency in HTML and other interactive languages and technologies. Knowledge of Flash, After Effects, Dreamweaver, Adobe Photoshop InDesign, and Adobe Acrobat Professional.
