This is a great opportunity to be a part of phase two of the Company’s growth.Job OverviewWe’re looking for an experienced WordPress Web Designer to join our fast-paced, high-performance Marketing Team and help grow the various Source Code lines of business.To be successful, you will bring creative vision to life on multiple brand websites through an innovative visual design aesthetic that incorporates industry standards. You will create attractive, user-centered digital designs that meet the brand and functionality specifications required. You will set up new processes to improve efficiencies in all areas of your business. You’ll advocate for creative solutions and creative content to continuously inspire our customers.You will collaborate with Marketing content and development teams and occasionally the Software Development department who is responsible for supporting ecommerce and non-WordPress-based sites.Responsibilities· Design, publish, and test user-friendly, responsive content on WordPress-based websites, including new page and blog posts, banner and image production, custom theme updates, etc.· Design pages for non-WordPress-websites, working with front and back-end developers to ensure designs align with the technology· Design landing pages on marketing automation platforms (Marketo)· Ensure all designs are responsive, and optimized for speed and scalability· Align campaign creatives to support multichannel launches by creating graphic content that aligns with promotional strategies and brand standards· Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to continuously improve the brands and enhance user experience across the websites· Present work during creative reviews – explain the strategy, rationale, process, and methodologies of the design communicationSkills and Experience· Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or equivalent· At least three years of web design and development for digital channels· Experienced creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to communicate interaction and design ideas· Thorough understanding of overall website design, including usability, accessibility guidelines, industry standards, architecture, responsive design, and navigation across various browsers and devices· Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator· Experienced with Adobe XD or other collaborative design/wireframing tools· Experience with premium WordPress themes (Astra, etc.) and builders (Elementor, etc.)· Experienced writing custom HTML and CSS· A firm grasp of SEO / SEM best practices· Up-to-date with the latest web trends, techniques and technologies· Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively· Be excited about collaborating and communicating closely with teams and other stakeholders to regularly deliver design solutions for approval· Be open to receiving feedback and iterating designs· Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize appropriately to meet deadlines consistently· Able to handle changing priorities· A strong portfolio showcasing current designs· Permission to work in the US without sponsorshipPlus· Work with a similar B2B technology brand· eCommerce experience (particularly WooCommerce)· Email design experience· Experience using A/B testing to inform experiments and optimize conversion rates· Experience with PHP and JavascriptLocationRemoteBenefitsCompetitive salaryAnnual paid vacation & sick daysHealth & dental InsuranceShort term and long-term disability Insurance401(k) retirement planJob title keywords: digital designer, web designer, UI/UX designer, digital graphic designer, visual designer, front-end developerSource Code is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
