Job OverviewWe are currently looking for a Web Graphic Designer to join our Marketing team. Our headquarters is located in Holland, MI and this position will be fully remote.As a Web Graphic Designer you will: Create look, layout, and features of website and interactive marketing materials, graphic conceptualization, and design of solution to its completion. Formulate design concepts and presentation approaches; produce materials for art work, layout design, and copy writing for web, electronic, and other media, requiring understanding of both graphic design and computer programming. Assist with maintenance and additions to Haworth website. Work with development teams or managers for keeping site up-to-date and prioritizing needs. Do you have these required qualifications?Bachelor’s degree of Fine Arts, Industrial Design, Marketing or Advertising with focus on Web Design, Graphic Design, Electronic Media.If no Bachelor’s degree, 1 year of web or graphic design experience for every 1 year of education not completed.3 years experience in graphic design, marketing, or advertising, including experience in cross functional roles.1 year corporate in-house design team or agency experience as Designer that includes all aspects of conceptual and production design.Current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship. Do you have these preferred qualifications?Web or graphic design certificationFamiliarity with Adobe Creative Suite programs.Retail, furniture, ecommerce, D2C experience preferred Ideally, you have also demonstrated the following:Knowledge in coding, formatting and testing web and mobile marketing collateral.Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of web, print photography, illustrations, campaigns, and communications.Knowledge in Planning, Web User Interface Design, Web Programming Skills, Multimedia Content Development, Understanding Browser Capabilities and UX experienceKnowledge of PC and MAC operating systems, design software in both platforms, and other electronic equipment used in design and production of pieces (i.e., photography, video and lighting equipment).Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services, including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing effective manufacture and distribution of goods.Knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods, including alternative ways to inform and entertain via written, oral, and visual media.Knowledge of structure and content of English language, including meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services, including marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.Extensive knowledge of MAC computers and Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, HTML5, and jQuery software applications.
