We didn't stay here, but the views were lovely. We rented a car from the owner who was above and beyond friendly and helpful. But car rental is pricey and really Haynes is small enough to walk everywhere, so maybe plan to just have a car the days you are going out from town.

Overall I would definitely say it’s a motel not a hotel but the rooms are clean and the views of the ocean and the harbor when you wake up are beautiful. More than that, they had great service and hospitality making it well worth the stay. Very accommodating even for late night arrivals with a friendly and helpful staff.

Super clean room! Every thing looked and smelled brand new. We had a great view of the water and mountains from our room. Breakfast was included, those blueberry muffins are excellent 👌 We were able to rent one of their cars which allowed us to see much of haines including 6 bears and a ton of eagles. The staff is awesome, they picked us up from the fast ferry and also returned us to the ferry the next day.

Good location for foot travel along the main tourist streets of Haines. We parked our car out front and only went back to it for further trips outside of town. Rooms were clean and continental breakfast was as expected for the prices charged. Overall, I would stay there again.
