I unfortunately don’t recommend staying here. Booked a room for ~2 weeks for a work trip with two colleagues. The staff were very kind but there was a hotel policy where we had to move all of our belongings out of our rooms every 4-5 days for cleaning. They said it was because of the length of our stay, even though the hotel advertises week long stays on the side of the building. I decided to ask if I could just not have my room cleaned to avoid the hassle of moving everything several times. In response, they had me move rooms, saying that they had informed me of this at check in (they had not). The rooms were very outdated and worn down. Location is great though!

Great staff on site. Rooms are basic but are clean, comfortable with a fridge with a small freezer inside. Plenty of food options within walking distance and on one of the main roads in Homer. Enjoyed my stay.

Nice historic hotel. It's just a short distance from the spit, but maybe a little too far to walk it. There is a restaurant on either side of the hotel with a coffee shop in one of them. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable.

Put in a reservation. It said card not billed but used to make reservation. Said I could cancel until 24hrs before NO FEE. I have screen shot of this. I canceled well before and they billed me 226.00. Now I have to open a dispute using my credit card and provide this screen shot. I won't ever use them or expedia in the future. Be aware of this.

It is a historic hotel that has recently had a cheap and fast face-lift. Parking is poor. No elevator. That said it gets the job done and is one of the cheaper options in town.

AVOID THIS PLACE The owner tried to double charge us: she asked for a credit card for reservation, then we paid cash but she tried to charge us via credit card nevertheless. Luckily for us we used a prepaid card that had no allowance so the payment didn't go through. Very small beds, small bathroom with no soap, just 2 towels for 4 people, our room's view is a dirty parking lot. There is no room cleaning service, so no clean towels or bedsheets.
