Just moved to Nome and was introduced to the Rex Center recently. I’m thoroughly impressed. They have so many amenities (swimming, a bowling alley, basketball court, racket ball, wall climbing, a gym, men and women’s locker rooms with showers and sauna, weights, etc. I attended a circuit class hosted by the community program from the hospital this morning. After everyone helped clean up. Then they set up toys for the kids. So many kids came and played, it was adorable. The city is covered in snow. It was great seeing the kids have such a big space to run around and protected from the climate. This may be my new favorite building and one I hope to utilize as much as possible.

My work rented NRC for a Valentine's rollerblading party. I brought my 3 year old niece & she had so much fun rollerblading with everyone! She cried so hard to stay when it was time to go. (Other people not pictured to respect their privacy)
