Riverview Regional Medical Center

Went to the ER because of a single vehicle accident. Triage was quick and efficient. Waited approximately one hour for X-rays and the technicians were professional and thorough. Waited approximately another hour to be moved into an ER room. Was briefed and made comfortable by a great nurse. Waited a little while longer and was examined by a very professional nurse practitioner. The wait times were not the result of any lacking of the staff but by the number of patients they were treating. I never felt rushed and am more than confident in the assessment and treatment I received. I highly recommend the ER and staff at Riverview Hospital.

I use to not use Riverview Hospital but due to an emergency where I ended up having shoulder and knee surgery. They were so great from the doctor, nurses, food service, pt and housekeeping. I will start using Riverview again. The food isn't good. But you can order from the grill. Thanks Cynthia Atha

I was admitted on 4/18/25. I had gone to the ER from my Dr's office for uncontrollable vomiting. After about 4 hours, they had my CT done and read, my xrays done and read and a lot of lab work done and read. I want to thank nurse Austin Burchfield, my nurse in the ER. He was so kind and considerate considering the condition I was in. When they sent me upstairs, I went to the 5th floor. At some point they find out that I had a severe abdominal infection. So everyone had to use universal precautions. Everyone was so nice and always asking if I needed anything. They really stepped up by helping me the way they did. The room was clean and they tried to make me as comfortable as possible. I don't remember much of the first night but the next day, I got Cody as my nurse. I don't know what his last name is but I really wanted to shout his name from the rooftops! He was amazing! So, so kind, interactive, capable (more than capable!) and considerate! He never made me feel like I was unconvincing him at all! He was prompt with meds which was a huge plus considering the meds I was on. He went way above and beyond to help me. I love my doc too. Her name was Dr.O Adebayo. She saw me every day and was very nice. I had a slight reaction to my meds and my speach became a a concern. I was basically out of it. Nathan, my nurse in training caught it and Dr. Adebayo addressed it to set me back on track. I just can't thank them all enough for the care they gave me because when though I tried not to pester them, I had to call for help quite often. I will definitely use RRMC again! I came home yesterday and wanted to post it then but I wasn't really up to it. One last thing, I was discharged Saturday afternoon and needed to go home on some strong antibiotics. We thought we were getting them from one pharmacy but ended up going to 5 different drug stores trying to find it. I had to call Cody AFTER discharge for help a few times and he helped us through it. So their care went past my hospital stay. I was so grateful! Again, thank you Cody, Nathan, Austin and Dr. Adebayo!!

This facility is on the older side and may not be as bright, shiny as some newer facilities. That said, I’d rather go here and be treated with kindness than go to a newer facility and be treated like just one of the herd. I had an endoscopy done here yesterday and there was not even one person who didn’t act like they were happy I was there. Every single person I met was so nice and wanted to ensure I was comfortable and well taken care of. Thanks to all of you for making this unpleasant procedure as easy as possible. See you in a couple weeks for a colonoscopy!

Been waiting over 2.5 hours to be seen, but it doesn’t end there. First off, the lady pictured below. Wearing glasses, hair pulled back, working front desk registration on 9/3 on the PM shift, needs to have her attitude checked and recorrected. When I first walked in, she’s going to ask THREE TIMES “why are you here” and “for what” after it was clearly stated that I am here since I am sick and needed attention. To make matters worse, she decided to make some pretty rude remarks about a patient that was also trying to check in at the same time as me. Then continued to discuss patient matters loud enough that it was heard across the waiting room. This is a violation of HIPAA laws and as a healthcare worker, you SHOULD NOT be discussing patient matters publicly in front of other patients. Second, the old white dude who works triage was incredibly snappy to me and my mother. He refused her entry into triage with me yet other patients were allowed to have guests with them to go to triage? Then when I mention that I have a heart condition, he kept making it out as if that POTS is not a heart condition? What a joke Riverview. I truly had hope and faith in y’all but the behavior I have been shown tonight as a patient is absolutely ridiculous. Pull up my records if you’d like and call the number on file, or I will be making a call to HR as soon as I am out to make sure things are corrected.

The receptionist was so nice, the lobby was clean and decorated so beautifully. The lab tech couldn't find a good vein to draw from so she drew from the top of my hand so she didn't have to stick my arms over and over. Thank you! I was finished in 20 minutes. She was so kind and compassionate. Well done folks. Some labs are rude, not you!

My daughter had a fall and they took care of her so fast! Fastest ER visit I have ever experienced! Staff was so nice and helpful and friendly to my lil girl. She did not feel scared or uneasy at all. Thank you riverview emergency department for your fast and considerate care of my lil girl ❤️

The visit at Riverview Regional Medical Center this time was A1 (meaning very special to me okay). I got the treatment I need it for my pneumonia. Hopefully if anything goes wrong in the future the staff and hospital equipment will still have the great services to afford. That they had this time. Thank You All and Thanks In Advance. Sincerely. I came to the ER with extreme pain and was taken back within a reasonable time. The staff acted quickly, ran all the necessary tests, and got me into surgery that same night. Everyone treated me with kindness and professionalism. Thank you to the entire team for helping me get better in less than 18 hours. I’m incredibly grateful for the care I received.

All the ladies and gentlemen at check in were very nice and helpful. Our first nurse Stacy was our favorite she was so, so nice!! Debbie was nice too and helpful,Carly, Reshonda,Melissa and Jeff we nice and helpful too!! The only bad part was my mom was not able to clean herself out enough to do procedure, I wish we or the Dr had realized a prep would have been more helpful ,now we have to go through this again.
