I am a Recruiter with Onin in Arkansas. I have now been with this amazing company for 8 months now. I have enjoyed being an oninnite, and I plan to stay. All my trainers when I first started were all very welcoming, supportive, and patient. It has been a very rewarding job. I love all the opportunities we have to help others grow and help empower them. One of my top things I love is that there is always someone there to help and all the tools they have to offer to help all of us continue to grow.

Our home office ROCKS!! Everyone is always willing to help you, the quick responses and attention to what you need is very helpful, especially when dealing with the needs of our clients and teammates. We know that all of us my be pulling at one time for something but you all handle it with care and we appreciate you.

EDIT: I've noticed a wave of positive Google reviews over the past few months, many appearing to come from current employees. If this was a coordinated effort, it's a form of reputation laundering that goes against Google's terms of service and Ōnin’s own conflict of interest policies. It's disappointing to see image being prioritized over transparency. During my four years in Onin's Marketing Department, I encountered both valuable learning opportunities and significant challenges. The staffing firm's focus on connecting employers with employees in blue-collar positions was commendable, but the disconnect between promised benefits and what the partnering employers provided troubled me. My entry into the Marketing role held promise, fueled by a positive interview experience and the anticipation of a raise after my 90-day review. However, challenges arose with a remote direct manager, leading to a lack of hands-on learning. Communication across various platforms, including Google video meets, chat, and project management software, created confusion. Feedback was often unclear and occasionally delivered in a hostile manner, making it challenging to improve. Despite positive performance reviews, inconsistencies emerged, such as being told conflicting information about a project and my overall performance. The promised raise after the 90-day review did not materialize, leaving me feeling deceived. Even when I secured a raise later, it came with reluctance and backhanded comments from my supervisor. Instances of misinformation and attempts to hide mistakes further eroded trust. The Marketing Director exhibited inappropriate behavior, including openly criticizing colleagues not present, making questionable requests, and using offensive language. Unprofessional comments about former team members and inappropriate gestures during meetings added to the discomfort. Discovering my supervisor's behind-the-scenes comments, including negative remarks and attempts to probe about HR meetings, further damaged trust. A pivotal moment came during a discussion about my future pay, where my genuine concerns were later misconstrued as self-centered. Despite appreciating the company, its people, and the job itself, the untenable working relationship with my supervisors led to my departure. I believe addressing these issues is crucial for sustained positive work experiences at Onin, as echoed by others who faced similar challenges after leaving the company.
