Job Overview
The Graphic Design Specialist will maintain and update the body of work that exists for the
promotion of JPII Healing Center Events and Resources. The role also includes the creation of print and digital material for JPII Healing Center marketing and philanthropy. The Graphic Design Specialist will also assist in the development of branding guidelines across the organization. While this current position is part-time we hope to grow to a full-time position in the next year.

TheGraphic Design Specialist will report to the Director of Operations for the JPII Healing
Center.

Responsibilities & Duties
Create and update event marketing materials (8-10 items for 8-10 events per year)
Update existing resource materials for JPII Healing Center (workbooks, flyers, banners, etc)
Assist in the creation of new materials for the promotion of JPII HC for web, print, social media, etc
Update and create branding guidelines and materials
Misc design projects for marketing and resources
Qualifications
Practicing Catholic with a mature faith life focused on prayer, growth and a deepening
relationship with the 3 persons of the Holy Trinity
Bachelor’s degree in graphic arts, design, communications, or related field
2-5 years of experience in graphic design
Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and the web
Familiarity with HTML and CSS preferred
Knowledge of Adobe PhotoShop, Illustrator, Sketch, InDesign, and other graphic design software
Compelling portfolio of work over a wide range of creative projects
Strong analytical skills
Excellent eye for detail
Ability to follow directives and receive constructive input
Desire to contribute to the overall growth of the ministry
