| Job Description : | What Creative Services contributes to Cardinal Health Creative Services is responsible for the conception, design and production of creative projects and programs from intake through delivery. These projects support marketing communication goals for the business. Prioritizes tasks and projects according to businesses’ needs and turn-around time. Demonstrates advanced proficiency in graphic design and associated software. Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills. Clearly communicates creative ideas and collaborates with internal and external partners/teams. Demonstrates experience working within an established brand identity system. Demonstrates advanced knowledge of print and production principles and best practices in the management and coordination of the creative process. Accountabilities The Graphic Designer II, Creative Services will be a positive, highly adaptive, and detail-oriented individual supporting our Channel Marketing, Digital Marketing, and Co-op teams by operating with a strong bias for action and the ability to independently drive catalog production and deliver high-quality digital, print, and sales assets. Acts with a sense of urgency; multitasks and re-prioritizes work appropriately Conceptualizes and designs marketing and sales enablement material, direct mail, and advertisements Earns respect through quality deliverables and challenging ideas appropriately Embraces change quickly and can navigate through ambiguity; looks for ways to improve how things are done Holds self and others accountable to high standards; delivers high quality results Is self-aware, learns from wins, failures, and mistakes and turns them into opportunities Maintains creative and production files of all assigned jobs Recommends best practices based on metrics (what worked, what didn’t work, how to improve) Reviews and proofs artwork for quality, content, color and accuracy, and makes adjustments as necessary Reviews current technology in fields of graphic design, photography, video, and social media. Identifies improved methods, materials, equipment, and resources that may benefit department productivity Seeks and gives transparent feedback on a regular basis and consistently adjusts Supports catalog layout, production, and edits (from start to finish) Qualifications Bachelors degree in related field, or equivalent work experience 2+ years experience in related field Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) and MS Office in a Mac environment Excellent copy writing and editing skills with the ability to make design recommendations and present information clearly and creatively Excellent organizational and communication skills (written and verbal) with demonstrated ability to persuasively present to internal partners Experience managing projects or working in project team environments Self-directed, self-motivated, with a balanced and moderate professional disposition Video production and editing is a plus What is expected of you and others at this level Applies working knowledge in the application of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks Works on projects of moderate scope and complexity Identifies possible solutions to a variety of technical problems and takes actions to resolve Applies judgment within defined parameters Receives general guidance may receive more detailed instruction on new projects Work reviewed for sound reasoning and accuracy Cardinal Health is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
