| Job Description : | Vision Sports Club is a state-of-the-art 50,000 square foot health club facility located in Pearl River, Rockland County, NY. We are currently looking for a hands-on and creative, Graphic Designer, to join our small, privately owned team. This person would be responsible for all visual assets and marketing efforts.Responsibilities: Work collaboratively with the General Manager and Marketing Development Team to conceptualize program ideas, develop, and design creative assets.Design all facility marketing materials for both print and digital, such as flyers, posters, decals, event collaterals, brochures, rate cards, and visual displays etc.Print physical graphics including flyers, posters, coupons, forms, and labels, in compliance with printing standards.Edit forms and schedules.Web / Digital: Create and produce effective digital design assets including social media posts, email templates, website updates, and online ads.Develop and manage campaigns to gain followers and increase engagement through paid and organic social media, web, and email.Set content creation goals and analyze effectiveness.Create e-mail marketing content and newsletters (Constant Contact or comparable).Modify and resize graphics to work with print, web, and digital etc.Ability to update the website through WordPress with current content including HTML links and graphics.Advertising / Marketing: Create marketing pieces for online, print, and social media advertising.Work with the General Manager to create sales driven graphics and social media video content.Take photos of facility products and programs for visual promotions.Work with the General Manager to iterate and test creative content based on performance across various platforms.Qualifications: 2+ years of graphic design experience.Bachelor’s degree or other design certification.Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in conjunction with the manager under tight deadlines.Ability to translate concepts into different types of media.Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (especially illustrator and Photoshop).Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel.Knowledge of setting up files in compliance for print.Basic knowledge of Facebook & Instagram ads and analytics.HTML, WordPress, SEO, and video knowledge is a plus.Job Type: Part-timeSchedule:Day shiftEducation:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Experience:Graphic Design: 2 years (Preferred)Work Location:One locationWork Remotely:NoWork Location: One location |
