SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE

The Graphic Designer / Marketing Coordinator is an integral part of the Marketing Department at PUBLIC Hotels. Their main responsibilities include graphic design, administrative and technical support for the Marketing Department. The individual also has a keen sense of style and design, a passion for downtown life and culture, and an understanding of branding and brand development.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Assist the Marketing Manager to include, but not limited to, ensuring compliance with brand standards, graphic design of various marketing materials, e-mail marketing, digital content creation, and implementation of guest communications,
Provide website maintenance/updates on multiple platforms
Work with managers and department heads to determine and assist with marketing and promotional services
Ensure that messages are supportive of and consistent with marketing strategies
Ensure that all online outlets align with brand standards and marketing initiatives
Assist with nightlife and programming calendars, paid media, analysis reporting
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Strong graphic design skills – use of InDesign and Photoshop are a must
Can be from any creative industry (i.e. fashion, art, music, entertainment). Hospitality experience is not required.
Ability to maintain a positive and professional demeanor and composure at all times
Ability to be friendly, engaging, gracious and the ability to focus and connect with all guests and team members and exceed their expectations
Have an upbeat, energetic, authentic and professional attitude at all times
Know how to participate in a team environment and assist other departments when needed, providing lateral service
All other responsibilities, tasks and special projects as assigned by leadership
