Job Description :	About usParadies & Company produces apparel goods for theme parks and retailers across America. We’re looking for talented artists to create eye popping screen print graphics, hardlines, hats, and other fun souvenirs for major retailers – this means working with your favorite cartoon characters every week.This is a remote full time position, however we are open to contract hours as well.We are not looking for web designers, this role is fully creative and requires heavy illustration talent and strong layouts.QualificationsExpert in Adobe software – mainly Illustrator and PhotoshopCapable of vector illustration as well as detailed art in Photoshop using Pantone colors. This job requires design and detailed drawing on a daily basis.Advanced understanding of design principles (typography, hierarchy, and composition)Fresh and inventive thinkingOrganized organized organizedAbility to meet deadlinesAwareness of fashion trends and stylesA sense of humor – we work with puns daily!Day to Day ResponsibilitiesReview emails and create your own schedule based on due datesCreate art concepts and review closely with the sales repsRender concepts in Illustrator and PhotoshopEdit CADs, list colors using the Pantone system and learn specialty ink techniques to elevate your conceptsCreate labels and packaging for merchandiseEducation: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Art and Design experience**A portfolio is REQUIRED, we will not review applicants without an online portfolio.When reviewing portfolios we want to see your graphic layout skills, illustration skills and your ability to draw numerous styles. Artists here are graphic chameleons, imitating cartoony styles, realistic illustrations, bold typography and simple vector pieces.
