Job Description : | Basic Function The Senior Graphic Arts Designer is a member of the marketing communications team and is responsible for the visual design and production of marketing campaigns in support of the AudioDigest and OnDemand continuing medical education (CME) learning solutions portfolio. The Senior Graphic Arts Designer is responsible for complex layout, design, and production activities to produce graphic-design artwork. Collaborate with key team members to understand products/solution features and benefits, as well as customer needs, to design, develop, and deliver customer focused solutions. Accountable for the pre-press of the direct mail and trade show print materials. May also be responsible for web design, graphics and as well as multimedia components of websites. The Senior Graphic Arts Designer ensures consistency with the overall brand image to maintain and promote a positive image on behalf of the company. Must have an in-depth knowledge of graphic-design equipment, tools, and techniques. Essential Duties and responsibilities Create engaging visual solutions that resonate with target audience and adhere to brand guides Responsible for the design, production, and pre-press for direct mail, print collateral, signage, packaging, and campaign printed graphics Design emails within Marketo, or similar tool Produce trade show booth design, and oversize event graphics Create graphic assets (headers, infographics, typography treatments) and more Produce landing pages and HTML responsive emails Incorporate changes recommended by stakeholders into the final design Review designs for errors and accuracy prior to printing or publishing Job Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in visual communication, graphic arts, design, or equivalent Experience: Minimum 5 years in a senior design, print and digital production manager or art direction role, preferably in a global organization, including: Extensive experience working pre-press with an eye towards quality and detail Experienced in print pre-press: color management, (Spot, CMYK, 5-color) separations, file set-up (bleeds, trim, gutter, live zones, etc.), and final print production for digital off-set printing Experienced in preparing images for production Strong sense of urgency and ability to work in a fast-paced, scaling environment Basic understanding of HTML and web publishing Ability to work cross-functionally and partner across multiple teams Extensive knowledge of software to review and edit files in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop |
