| Job Description : | Senior Graphic Designer – Ideally Stamford BasedWe are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Graphic Designer to create engaging and on-brand designs for a variety of media. The role sits across multiple verticals of the company including media/content production, hospitality, events, social media and commercial real-estate with the aim of providing strong brand identities, guidelines and visual communication of ideas, while upholding design consistency for each division.Workstreams will include but are not limited to brand books/guidelines, custom presentations and decks, infographics, iconography, logos, layouts, templates, marketing and event invites and collateral, customer signage and social media assets. You’ll be the one to shape the visual aspects of pitching materials, websites, events, newsletters and more.The ideal candidate will have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with quick deadlines, communicate well, take feedback, exude flexibility, and work methodically as part of a team. A self-starter attitude and an excitement to work in a fast paced, low ego environment is a must.You will ensure consistency and quality of design assets, translate concept ideas into creative execution, will be able to introduce new design influences inspired by culture, creatives and media while showing a strong understanding of design principles including, layout, typography, and color theory.Responsibilities:· Partner with department heads/development and creative execs and/or project leads to oversee all graphic design needs· Generate concepts and manage the creative process for a wide range of materials that may include print collateral, digital/social assets, presentation decks, programming collateral, signage, internal communications, member and external communications, partnerships, newsletters, marketing campaigns, event concepts and materials, premiums and more· Study briefs and determine requirements needed to create, prepare and present design concepts for review· Help build brand identities for different divisions/projects/products/brands including design choices, fonts, colors, layouts, etc.· Work with teams to establish workflow process, prioritize requests and multiple projects to ensure the ability to respond quickly and efficiently· Test graphics across various media· Adapt to new tasks and responsibilities as the business grows and changesRequirements:· Minimum of 5+ years of work experience in graphic design related role· Creative flair and a strong ability to translate requirements into design· Proven graphic designing experience· A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics· Expert with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Adobe Creative suite, Keynote, google slides, google suite etc.)· A keen eye for aesthetics and details· Excellent communication skills· Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines· Degree in Media, Design, Fine Arts or related field is a plus· Familiarity in animation· Web design skills including Newsletters (e.g. Mailchimp, Flodesk, Squarespace, WordPress, Canva, etc.)Job Type: Full-timePay: $90,000.00 – $100,000.00 per yearBenefits:Health insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftEducation:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Experience:Graphic design: 5 years (Required)Adobe Creative Suite: 1 year (Preferred)Adobe Illustrator: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location |
